Our Advanced Workshop focuses on developing and then refining core improvisation skills directly and organically. We’ll learn to use key skills from the worlds of acting, comedy, psychology, and even meditation to help deepen your awareness WHILE you’re improvising.
In addition to what David mentions in the video above, our curriculum also touches on:
- Discovering/Leaning into relationships during scene work
- Learning and developing story awareness
- Allowing & discovering versus forcing ideas or comedy
- Learning the difference between “Primary” & “Secondary” characters
- Stagecraft and the basics of stage directions
- When and why to use various types of entrances, exits, and edits
- Developing compelling characters
