Sketch Coven is a meetup and workshop for sketch comedians. Each month, we get together at Kickstand Comedy to read scripts in progress, give supportive feedback, and help develop a fun, vibrant sketch community here in Portland.

Writers bring drafts of their work for the group, including actors and acting-curious improvisers, to table read. Facilitators will provide feedback, then open discussion.
Whether you have a completed script, a rough draft, or just a loose concept you’d like to flesh out, Sketch Coven is a place to develop your sketch skills – don’t be shy!
We prioritize scripts from first timers and revised drafts of sketches we’ve read at previous meetings. Expect to only have one script read, but feel free to bring more. We’ll do our best to get through as many as we can in the time we have.
Every 4th Saturday of the month.
Suggested donation is $10 to support this and other Kickstand programs. Payment/ticket purchase is not required to attend, but please be sure to RSVP with your info.
