Advanced Stand-UP Sundays w/ Rachelle Cochran

July 13 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

$285

Whether you’re looking to build a solid five-minute set, strengthen your joke-writing process, or just get more comfortable in the spotlight, this class will help you level up your stand up and get funnier, faster.

Perhaps you’ve tried some open mics or performed a few times. You have gotten some laughs or even bombed, but now it’s time to sharpen your skills and take your comedy to the next level. This class is designed for comedians who are interested in honing their stand-up further and want to refine their joke writing, develop stronger material, and gain more confidence on stage.

We’ll dig deep into:

  • Advanced Joke Structures – Learn how to tighten setups, heighten punchlines, and structure your jokes for maximum impact.
  • Crushing Writer’s Block – Develop strategies to generate fresh material and push past creative ruts.
  • Laughter Cues– Understand what makes people laugh on a deeper level so you can craft jokes that consistently land.

And because standup is all about stage time, you will test your material in a culminating class show where you can test your material in a supportive environment along with your classmates.
